Death Cafe

Thursday 28 November 2019, Wildflower Death Café, Gaunts House, 7.30 – 9.30pm

Gaunts House, Petersham Ln, Gaunts, Wimborne BH21 4JQ

“It is not death that we should fear, but we should fear never beginning to live.” Marcus Aurelius.

Award-winning celebrant, Ellie Brooks – Dorset’s only accredited Sacred Celebrant (IPHM) – is delighted to be holding the next Wildflower Death Café at Gaunts House in Wimborne.

A Death Cafe is a gathering of people who come together to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.

The objective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’.

During the Death Café there will be a friendly group discussion of death with no agenda, objective or theme. It is important to note that the Death Café hosts a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

This event is free to attend, but pre-booking is essential to secure your place. Please email hello@wildflowerceremonies.co.uk or call Ellie on 07922 591684 to save your seat.
